How it works?
Mereasy requires an active data connection. Tap on the large central button to activate the smartphone camera in the stand-by position. Once the picture is taken, Mereasy searches on the Internet the information about the subject.
What happens to the picture?
The image taken is analyzed by an algorithm that performs an online search comparing similar images to find corresponding textual content. No image is retained within the app, nor is it sent to our processing systems.
What is the "Listen" function?
Mereasy has a multilingual voice syntetizer that reads the text found in the research. This incredible tool turns your smartphone into an audio guide.
What is the "other results" function?
In addition to the main result, Mereasy can also provide other topics related to the photographed subject.
What is the "Google" function?
By clicking on the Google icon it’s possible to perform an extra search to view more the results about the subject in the picture.
What is the "Wikipedia" function?
This function allows you to access to the Wikipedia platform results.
Is Mereasy free?
Yeah, it is. Mereasy is a free app, no search limits or registration needed to use it. However, by registering you can use the My Mereasy “Save your searches” function.
What kind of information do I get?
Mereasy don’t want to replace books, art magazines or professional tourist guides; it is only a smart tool created to instantly satisfy the curiosity of anyone who faced with a work of art and wants to know the basic information.
Does it works off-line?
Mereasy needs an Internet connection to start the search process. However, thanks to the “Load from the gallery” function you can take a picture and analyze it when a data connection is available.
